I tried cooking chicken today. Luckily it went well and food poisoning won’t be an issue, in fact I liked the taste.
Credit where it’s due, this is a slightly changed version of this recipe.
Ingredients:
1.5 tablespoons Worcester sauce
0.75 of a cup of tomato ketchup
1 cup of Coca Cola
Salt to season
4 or 5 Chicken breasts
(Cups are 250ml)
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius or the Fahrenheit equivalent.
Put the chicken into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle salt on top.
In a separate dish mix the cola, the ketchup and the Worcester sauce together until they’re combined into one liquid.
Pour the liquid mix onto the chicken in the ovenproof dish and cover the dish with aluminium foil.
Place the covered ovenproof dish into the top shelf of the preheated oven and leave it to cook for 65-70 minutes.
Remove the dish from the oven and remove the foil to reveal chicken that’s ready to eat.
Serving suggestion: Chop the chicken once cooked (it should fall apart under a little pressure) and mix in with egg fried rice.
