A terrible argument,
An awful fight,
We just didn’t agree,
Me and the Indian curry,
Keeping me awake,
I’m up all night,
My stomach makes sounds,
As masala goes five rounds,
I lock myself away,
Don’t feel good,
The stinging in my gut,
From that dopiaza uppercut,
I feel it now,
I know the hate,
It won’t treat me nice,
That tandoori and rice,
I try to hide,
But can’t get away,
You know I adore ya,
The vicious pakora,
I know I’ve lost,
Beaten down,
But you stop my dread,
A soft calming Naan bread.
This poem made me hungry 😂

It was written at 2AM when I couldn’t sleep from feeling unwell after a curry.
