Recipe: Chilli

I have nearly lost the recipe that I have written on a piece of paper so for safety’s sake and to make it so I can read it off my phone I’m putting the main bits on here.

1 onion, 4 garlic cloves (or the equivalent salt), 500g mince, 2 beef stock cubes, 1.5 teaspoons cumin, 1 teaspoon paprika, 5 shakes cayenne pepper, two pepper twists, coffee for the meat to swim in, a squirt of buffalo sauce, a tin of tomatoes and a tin of beans.

It takes roughly 30 minutes to make. Cook the onions, garlic and mince, add stock cubes and spices. Add coffee then let it cook with the lid on so the flavours can mix for about five or ten minutes then let it reduce for a similar amount of time, not enough to dry it out though. Add the tinned food and stir it all together and let it stay on the heat until ready to plate up.
