The Wasteland Workshop DLC in Fallout 4 doesn’t do it much good. The DLC adds a few items to the construction mode and allows for fights to be constructed but there doesn’t seem to be much point to it.
Cages can be created and fights can be set up between different creatures to let you see how many Mole Rats it would take to kill a Deathclaw or some other combination of Fallout 4’s enemies. It’s nice and can be entertaining to spectate.
There are plenty of items added with this DLC for the player to mess around with in construction mode. Some players may like this, others won’t.
This DLC does nothing wrong but it doesn’t really do anything right either. It adds to the game which is always good but it feels like stuff that should have already been in the game. The only practical use I can find is farming equipment off trapped beasts that you could find in the wild anyway.
The art that I’m using as the featured image was found on the marketplace section of the Xbox website. It shows a woman and a dressed as some sort of engineer wearing a Pip-boy inside a vault door shape. I’m guessing this is to say the player character is to get to work building but it isn’t the best for promoting the DLC.
